Bio

My name is Anthony Phillips and I am the a Tournament Bass Fisherman on the BASS Open and FLW BFL and Everstart Series. I began  fishing the FLW tournaments in 2008 fishing the BFL tour as a co-angler gaining valuable experience and enabling me to advance up to the Everstart Series in 2009. I also began fishing the BASS Opens in 2009 as a co-angler finishing 51st place in my first tournament 1 ounce out of the top 50. My 2010 tournament season started with a 47th place finish , but was cut short due to family obligations when my brother suffered three heart attacks and two strokes in a week period. I was force to back out of my remaining tournaments to care for my ailing brother. I have dedicated my career to my brother who has a love for tournament fishing himself , but do to brain surgery won’t be able to continue fishing tournament. This has made me more determined to succeed in my goals. I was chosen to represent Walmart and FLW as an ambassador for the 2011 spring fishing expos, I was introduced as a member of the Rudy Project Fishing Team in 2012 for this I am proud an honored to represent these organizations. 

I have set a goal of advancing through the tournament bass fishing ranks in a quest to qualify for the BASS Elite tour and the two major tournaments in bass fishing, The Forrest Wood Cup and the Bassmaster Classic within the next two years.
